Interesting how the couple's garden seems bigger now it's full of trees than it did in the lady's original photos of a lawn and edging borders. #GardenersWorld

The best type of gardeners feature on #gardenersworld - great people with a passion for something very different to what I would usually go for. I’ve learnt so much, feeding off their enthusiasm. #GardeningX

Get rid of a shed? What? Is that chap serious? A shed is a vital resource for most blokes. I've got three. 🤣 #GardenersWorld

"There's two kinds of root cuttings." Yes, ones that work, and ones that rot in the compost and disappear. #GardenersWorld

Jon Knight (@greenjimll) 's Twitter Profile Photo

You need to make sure root cuttings are the right way up for them to take. Unless they're couch grass or bindweed, in which case any orientation seems to work! #GardenersWorld

I do like a Carol Klein segment on propagation on #GardenersWorld. It's one of the magic parts of #gardening as far as I'm concerned. Cloning for free!

There is nothing better than propagating from seed. And seed collecting time is amazing Doing the hollyhocks is one of the itchier jobs of this month #seeds #propagation #gardenersworld

I remember someone (I think it was Alys Fowler ) saying that there's a simple way to deal with marestail in your garden. Move house. #GardenersWorld

To have a topiary expert, who was a hairdresser for decades, is just the best Friday evening television possible! Never change, #GardenersWorld 😊

First Saturday of the month so that means it's #RepairCafe day! I'll be there as usual this morning at the Methodist church hall making blunt things sharp.

Jon Knight (@greenjimll) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This morning has the sort of fine misty rain that means you don't really notice that it's actually raining until you realise that you're soaked. 🌧️

Jon Knight (@greenjimll) 's Twitter Profile Photo

For once I wasn't inundated with things to sharpen at the #RepairCafe today, to the point that I had time to have a cuppa and cake and then fix a vacuum cleaner. I can only assume I'm approaching having sharpened everything in the town now.

Jon Knight Not wanting to make you redundant, but I've long thought that along with sweeping, digging, lifting Etc. sharpening basic tools should be taught in school.
