Went to sign up for The Green Party conference and registration closed yesterday. Is this a new thing? Sometimes you can only book on once you’ve sorted your rota/childcare. Seems a bit harsh to close a week out.

I tend to be against means testing as it’s a bureaucratic headache for government and citizens. Better to have a floor for everyone and recalibrate “benefits for rich people” through taxation Wouldn’t need a winter fuel debate if you had UBI flowing into livable pension 👀.
