Συναντήθηκα στην Ουάσινγκτον με τον Alfred Kammer, Διευθυντή του Ευρωπαϊκού Τμήματος του ΔΝΤ. Συζητήσαμε για τις εξελίξεις της ευρωπαϊκής οικονομίας και τις προοπτικές της ελληνικής οικονομίας σε μια περίοδο που η ανάπτυξη και η σταθερότητα αποτελούν κοινές προτεραιότητες.

Συμμετείχα στο World Economy Summit του Semafor. Με τη Liz Hoffman, στη θεματική με τίτλο "From Crisis to Comeback", συζητήσαμε για το μέλλον της παγκόσμιας οικονομίας και των αγορών, εστιάζοντας στις προκλήσεις και τις ευκαιρίες της εποχής μας.

Με τον Υπουργό Οικονομικών της Εσθονίας Jurgen Ligi, τον Υπουργό Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης του Λιβάνου Kamal Shehadi και την Αναπλ. Διευθύντρια Δημοσιονομικών Υποθέσεων του ΔΝΤ Era Dabla-Norris συζητήσαμε για τις προκλήσεις της ψηφιοποίησης της Οικονομίας & της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης.

Συναντήθηκα σήμερα το πρωί με τον Stephen Miran, μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της FED και πρώην Επικεφαλής Οικονομικό Σύμβουλο του Προέδρου των ΗΠΑ, και ανταλλάξαμε απόψεις για τις διεθνείς μακροοικονομικές εξελίξεις.

Συναντήθηκα στην Ουάσινγκτον με τον Υπουργό Οικονομικών των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Έξι μήνες μετά την πρώτη μας συνάντηση, είχαμε την ευκαιρία να επιβεβαιώσουμε τη σχέση εμπιστοσύνης και στρατηγικής συνεργασίας μεταξύ Ελλάδας και Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών.

Παρουσίασα στον ομόλογό μου την πρόοδο της χώρας στο πεδίο της δημοσιονομικής σταθερότητας και της προσέλκυσης επενδύσεων και συζητήσαμε για την περαιτέρω ενίσχυση των οικονομικών σχέσεων Ελλάδας–ΗΠΑ, με έμφαση στην τεχνολογική καινοτομία και τις ενεργειακές υποδομές.
