We strongly support the Basic Income for the Arts pilot scheme and its continuation. Research to date by Tourism-Culture-Arts-Gaeltacht-Sport-Media highlights huge potential for the scheme to make the arts a viable career for those with ambition and talent, whatever their social or demographic background.
