National Institute for Health and Care Research BRC update from BRC Director Mike Grocott & Kay Mitchell RN NIHR Southampton BRC Concentrating on collaboration & impact as themes for the conference. Working across the NIHR infrastructure to provide better research for our patients & workforce #CRFBRC25 Research at Leicester's Hospitals


The first speaker of our 2nd plenary session, focusing on collaboration, is Prof Rachel Upthegrove MBE (University of Oxford, Uni of Birmingham), who's highlighting excellent experimental medicine studies in #MentalHealth, aiming to help people at risk or living with severe mental illness. #CRFBRC25


After lunch (and ice cream! 🍨) it's now time for parallel sessions here at #CRFBRC25 - and our PPIE team is presenting about their work to avoid duplication & create a comprehensive hub to streamline PPIE across organisations in our region. Laura Chapman & Claire Wickett 👏
