Below is a link to an interesting paper. I believe that plant-microbial relationships are the key for plant breeders to unlock the next breakthrough in crop improvement. As we increase the use of cover crops it is imperative that we understand the effect on the microbiome.

Pulled the sides and dropped the turface out of the prescription cover crop mix root boxes. We learned quite a bit about root morphology and interactions in polycultures. Much to improve on for the next round.

AberLasting is a white clover- kura clover hybrid. It was bred by IBERS - Aber and is marketed by GO Seed in the USA. AberLasting combines the best traits of white and kura clover. Much easier to get established than kura clover. dairyreporter.com/Article/2024/0…
