Congratulations to the PI of the geomechanics group at University of Toronto Engineering Prof. Grasselli on receiving the prestigious John A. Franklin award by CGS The Canadian Geotechnical Society for his outstanding contributions to the fields of Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering.

We are pleased to announce our group, the NSERC/Energi Simulation Chair in Fundamental Rock Physics and Rock Mechanics, will be jointly sponsoring the colloquium by Prof. Mark Zoback, Stanford University, along with the Department of Physics University of Toronto.
