GM from the farm! This wood chipper is one way we sequester carbon and offset carbon output in energy use. Tree limbs are about 50% carbon by weight & are the carbon input in the compost we make from food & beverage waste from Half Hill Farm.

This year's sunflowers are planted! These can get up to 12 feet tall. This will be the 7th year we give these away through Half Hill Farm. 💕🌻

A #crow brought me a #gift this morning - a mushroom. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been leaving a small family of crows little nuts & things. Today was the first day one of them flew in with the #mushroom in its beak & placed it next to the plate. I hope it’s one of many to come.
