Bellevue Lodge No. 325 enjoyed the spring weather this week with burgers, hotdogs & a potluck. Brethren met this morning for breakfast and a planning meeting.

Brother Joshua Edgar was presented with the Artificer Award at College View Lodge No. 320. Brother Edgar is the second brother at College View Lodge to earn the award, which was presented to him by his Masonic mentor, WB Curtis Wolbert, Grand Tyler. Congratulations!

Grand Lodge Officers practiced then performed the 8th Degree at the Scottish Rite Reunion in Omaha tonight.

Last Saturday, Grand Lodge officers traveled to Grand Island to confer two Master Mason degrees. Thank you to Ashlar Lodge No. 33 and Hastings Lodge No. 50 for the invitation and hospitality!

At the 78th Nebraska Grand Assembly of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls in South Sioux City, NE, WB Eric BenSalah (Grand Marshal) was elected as State Rainbow Dad for 2023-24. WB Eric is currently the Rainbow Dad for Benson Diana Assembly No. 2 in Omaha, NE. Congrats!

Happy Father’s Day! Capitol Lodge No. 3 of Omaha held their annual breakfast honoring dads this morning.

Mercer Masonic Lodge hosted an Omaha area School of Instruction on Thursday evening. It was well attended, with great information shared by the Grand Custodian and the Deputies that performed the work. Pictured is MWB John Millington addressing the brethren.

Road trip! Today’s Fellowcraft Degree School of Instruction in Bridgeport, NE was very well attended. Several Grand Lodge Officers traveled to participate in the instruction.

At the October meeting for Nebraska Lodge No. 1, W.B. Mo Krishna (Personal Representative of the Grand Master) presented the Grand Master’s Proficiency Coin to Brother Rich Coenen for his outstanding proficiency in the Master Mason degree. Congratulations!

RWB John Ferguson, Deputy Grand Master, was pleased to make announcements of his appointments to the 2024 Advancing Line this week. RWB Ferguson introduced WB Eric BenSalah as Grand Senior Deacon and WB Jeff Buhrman as Grand Junior Deacon for the coming year. Congratulations!

Several Grand Lodge Officers had the pleasure of conducting a multi-candidate degree today. Fifteen brethren (15!) from Omaha area lodges were passed to the Fellowcraft degree, conferred by RWB John Herbolsheimer. MWB John Millington brought greetings and congratulations.

Bro. Justin Bower of Omaha Lodge No. 288 earned a Grand Master’s Excellence in Proficiency coin on 11/7 in the Master Mason degree. RWB John Herbolsheimer made the presentation, and shared that Bro. Bower loved the process of learning the ritual for proficiency. Congratulations!
