It is a special day to be visiting the 10th Kombo Scouts in Serrekunda, Gambia, West Africa 🇬🇲 ⚜️. Strengthening links with 12th South West Cheshire Cheshire Scouts and to aspire to opportunities! We exchanged gifts of scarves & badges, and shared activities & stories 💜🙏

Exciting scenes at 10th Kombo Scouts, Serrekunda , Gambia 🇬🇲. Two Explorers, Zachary, Amba from Cheshire Scouts and their parents visited with me too. We shared gifts of table tennis, new games, books, badges, pins and new neckerchiefs for the Group! World Scouting

While I've been visiting Gambia, our partners from Girguiding in Cheshire GG Cheshire Border GG Cheshire Forest have been delivering amazing work Gunjur Project. They've had focussed workshops & teaching about womens' health, breast cancer, drug use, internet safety. Totally inspiring!

For the first time in many years, a new County competition based on a much-loved Scout tradition in North West England: The Lord Derby. Newly named "County Scout Challenge". Well done to Charly O'Brien for organising and congratulations to Mersey Weaver Scouts 2023 winners 🏆 👏

Today, Cheshire Scouts are represented at a stand at the Royal Cheshire County Show with even more activities on offer and upgraded infrastructure. Looking forward to sharing our work and mission with visitors this week. A huge *thank you* to all the Scout volunteers staffing the event.

Great day leading West African Djembé class today Royal Northern College of Music celebrating the 50th birthday #RNCM50! 🪘💥🎈 And performing with #MIRO, bringing some Hungarian, Bosnian, Kurdish and Turkish vibes to the house! 🌍🎶
