Great to spend time with mum today on her 86th birthday.

Like millions of people in this country my life was saved by the NHS and I will be forever grateful. We have to stop taking our NHS workers for granted and pay them what they are worth. I for one support their action today. #NursesStrike

3 years today I had a triple heart bypass and a replacement heart valve. This morning I did 20 lengths of the local pool at 8.30am. So grateful to Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital I owe them so much. #NursesStrike

This is our local squirrel moving her babies to a new nest. It was only on the fourth trip I worked out what she was carrying.
