I am pleased to have finally submitted my application to become an MIE Expert for another year. This past year has been a monumental one in so many ways and I would love to sign it off by being invited into the community for another year. 🤞#MIEExpert

This is proving to be quite the end to the year! Today I received my certificate for completing the Primary Cluster Programme. Thanks to everyone at SSERC SSERC Early Years and Primary Team SSERCdigital for their support over the course of the year and thanks to the fellow mentors too!

Had a great day last Friday with SSERCdigital as part of the Amazon Apax Enthuse Funded course for VEX Robotics Vex Go. Amazing piece of STEM technology which is already being put to use this week!

Woohoo! They finally arrived in school today. 😁

A busy three days. First up, co-presenting a session on digital technology with Jen Mackay 👩🏻‍💻 🌈 as part of the INSET day then tomorrow morning a session on STEM. Finishing on Saturday morning with a workshop at TRIC Digifest 2.3 about our journey to becoming a digital school.

Day 2 and time to run a workshop on STEM challenges across the school and the progression framework which has been created bespoke to the school.

A first for me today, presenting a workshop at the #TRICDigiFest on leading a journey to the Digital Schools Award. Great keynote speech from Dr Daniel Rough and thanks to all the other presenters who ran workshops, some of which I was able to attend.

Had a really good day at the #TRICDigiFest today listening to some great speakers and being given the chance to share the Dens Road Primary and Nursery School digital school journey. Lots of inspiration and takeaways going forward.

MIE Expert Renewal completed for 2024/25. Nothing more I can do but wait until results come out in September. Fingers crossed I get the chance to continue being part of the community that is #TeamMIEEScotland.
