Fall sports are around the corner. Registration will start online on August 4th. If you have not had a sports physical in the past three years, schedule one ASAP.

Soccer begins a week from today! Online registration is open as of today.

Football and Volleyball start next Monday. Six days and counting. Registration is open on the activities website.

Girls swim and tennis start next Monday. Five days and counting. Register online on the GRHS Activities page!

Boys and Girls Cross Country Running starts on Monday. Four days and counting. Registration is open on the GRHS Activities website.

Marching band is in full swing. Don’t forget to register and pay you fees. The online registration is open or you can pay at the activities office.

Fall sports got underway today. We love the energy back in the building, on the fields, courts and pool. Here we go!

Eli Cherne set the school record in weight lifting. His football teammates cheered him on to his accomplishment. Way to go, Eli.

The Thunderhawk Football teams have been working hard. Scrimmages at home next Saturday and their first game is at Cloquet on August 29th.

Girls soccer had a great first week of practice. They’re looking forward to their first game this week.

Fill The Hill tomorrow night, August 19th, at Noble Hall Field. It is always amazing to see this years show for the first time. We’ll see you all tomorrow!

Congratulations to the Marching Band on a great sneak peak into this year’s show at Fill the Hill last night. As with any sport, it is great to see the growth and improvement from the start of practice. Go Thunderhawks!

Boys Soccer is getting ready for their first home game of the year tomorrow. Bring on Pelican Rapids and let’s get the year rolling.

It was a beautiful day for some tennis as Grand Rapids/Greenway got in their first home meets of the year while playing Hibbing and St. Francis.

The Thunderhawks Boys Soccer team lost their opening game to a quality Pelican Rapids squad. After graduating 15 seniors, this young team looked good and hung in the until the last minutes of the second half. It will be fun to watch this team grow.

The first home volleyball game of the year is tomorrow night. Go Thunderhawks!
