The Scenic City tournament was a hot one! I love sharing the field with these girls and I’m glad we were able to see good competition. I batted .400 on the weekend, with zero strikeouts. I had no errors. Just a couple highlights.

Monday and Wednesday of this week I helped with East Wilkes softball camp. I have attended the camp for years, but participated in a different way this year. I hope these girls enjoyed camp as much as I did!

Dalton, Georgia was another hot one, but we competed pretty well.The Nationals were 5-1 on the weekend. I batted .615 for the tournament, going 8 for 13 with 5 singles and 3 doubles.This puts me at .500 on the travel season so far. I’ve added a couple clips from this weekend.

Thank you Western Carolina Softball and Jim Clift for the great day yesterday at our team camp. We have some new infield and outfield drills to work on, learned some new baserunning techniques, and got to tour their beautiful campus. Go Cats!!

Unfortunately, struggling is part of the game. I didn’t have the best weekend at the plate but I’ll be in the cage and on the field this week to work on some things! I made two good plays in left field, both times holding runners at 3rd base. Here are those videos.

I've been putting in a lot of work this offseason to get stronger and make my swing more consistent. I've been lifting regularly, focusing on building muscle and improving my overall fitness. I've been spending time in the cage, refining my technique and making adjustments.

Yesterday was a beautiful day to take the field with the East Wilkes Lady Cardinals. We played two talented teams. I had a successful day at the plate. I was 6-7 on the day. One HR, five singles, one RBI and two SB. One runner caught stealing. Here are some offensive highlights.
