An arc, midway, dragging my feet, as life comes, half circle.. Tempted, to dart right across, & close this arc.. Half or full circle, Or simply a slice.. Life stands, like a burnt silhouette, of moments, waiting to happen.. or maybe, happened already, waiting to be counted..!

Picking up my pieces, the ones i scribbled, And named after you.. The wilderness of life, asks me to sacrifice, my love in exchange.. I know you wouldn't miss, those pieces, I laid at your feet, in vain.. I am trying to fill, my hollowed heart, with unrequited parts, of Me...!

**The Smile adorns Red Lips** The red lips, always practice, the best smile.. Those who get, distracted, by my eyes.. They settle, their gaze, on my lips.. I paint them red, and adorn, with the best smile.. I have played, the game of make believe, for years now...!

The noise & commotion, every time, I have an off day.. You, your memories, &some broken dreams.. Each clamour for my attention, to snatch the spotlight.. I scramble my day, to roll it across the typewriter.. I imprison the noise, the chaos, in words, tightly.. and, I weep...

Amazing work, once again 🖤 The stifled light, splits to proclaim duality.. I learnt tht, the shadows are, introverted light, choosing their favourite company, to open up to.. Since then, World fancies Light, I seek out the shadows, & comfort them with🖤 They embrace me now..!

Marooned, in the corner, littered by expectations.. Peeling off the paint, tht embeds, in my fingernails.. I draw, the same picture, on the broken wall.. The waters run deep, or shallow, I didn't step in, ths time.. Marooned, cuz I hold, mismatched oars, & my boat is tired..!
