I think its harder then ever to be a 3rd base coach in MLB. It's tough to make decisions without knowing the effort level you're getting. Running hard makes it easy. Coaches have to make split second decisions and reading the runners effort level shouldn't have to be one of them.

People have lost sight of just how difficult it is to not only make it to the big leagues but to stay there. No matter what era you play in, it's the best of the best. If you played you know just how hard the game is. Thats one perspective that I will never lose. Garbage Career?

Insulting a former big leaguer about his 7.1 WAR is hilarious to me. Especially when you consider just how big of a talent gap there is between the AVG Joe and that 4A replacement player that the metric is based off of. Now compare that to a 9 year MLB player with a plus WAR. 🤦‍♂️
