My trail cameras picked up the #otters 121 times on the Water of Leith over the last few weeks BUT only 5 of those were in daylight! Here’s a short video of what the wildlife have been up to on the Water of Leith in March! #TwitterNatureCommunity #urbanwildlife Edinburgh Evening News

Lots of dipper activity on the Water of Leith this morning. A few of them were flying passed, with food in their bills, which means they are feeding chicks! #Edinburgh #wildlife #wildlifephotography #TwitterNatureCommunity

The otters on the Water of Leith are slowly coming out of their nocturnal phase, as daylight hours get longer! Lovely to watch this cub coming out of the darkness this morning! #Otters #waterofleith #Edinburgh #urbanwildlife #scottishwildlife

Plenty to see on the Water of Leith yesterday. Leith section was busiest with goosanders, mallards, coots, moorhen, eiders, swans, a variety of gulls & a Canada goose. Numerous garden birds along the walkway, to look out for as well! #waterofleith #edinburgh #urbanwildlife

Over the last 7-10 days, dippers chicks have started appearing on the Water of Leith, from Balerno down to Leith. Their grey colouring helps camouflage them amongst the rocks & boulders, on the river, so you may hear them B4 you see them! #waterofleith #urbanwildlife #edinburgh

I don’t often get to see #badgers in daylight on the Water of Leith but I got lucky this morning! For the next 8 weeks there's a chance of seeing them in daylight for an hour after sunrise & an hour before sunset 🦡🤞 #Edinburgh #wildlife #urbanwildlife #TwitterNatureCommunity

Spent Saturday on #LochShiel photographing white tailed eagles. Mixed weather in stunning surroundings created a very dramatic atmosphere! Aly from Loch Shiel Cruises was fantastic & got us in the right places to photograph these incredible birds! #wildlife #TwitterNatureCommunity
