Base Class 1 made the most of the good weather last week and enjoyed some trips. We went to the Five Sisters Zoo and enjoyed seeing the animals.

While the summer holiday is approaching, BC1&2 are doing a lot of fun activities to build up relationships. Yesterday, we went to our favourite place Blair Drummond SP had a fab fun day together. Some of us are thinking of becoming zoo keepers in the future! #WeAreCapable

As we come to the end of the summer holiday, we are looking forward to welcoming back staff on Monday and pupils on Wednesday. Please remember…….not everyone will have had a ‘great summer’ or have ‘gone on holidays’. Just welcome everyone back and say it’s nice to see them!

Base class 1 and 6 enjoyed two trips to the Edinburgh Fringe last week. Both classes will be learning about Scotland this term and our first trip was such a success, we went back two days later. Our pupils enjoyed the fire juggling, magic and Ashleigh getting dragged up twice!

We had the fantastic education officer from the Dog Trust Dogs Trust 💛🐶 to our class yesterday delivering a very informative presentation on dog safety. We have learnt the 3Cs steps for greeting a dog in the public. Have a guess what are the 3Cs for? #WeAreCapable #WeLoveDogs

Everyone knows BC2 pupils are good at riding bikes. But what you don't know is that we have been trained by the amazing legends to fix bikes! We have started our Scottish Study this term with a significantly fascinating Scottish Woman-Mary Queen of Scots! We visited her birth place yesterday at Linlithgow Palace Historic Environment Scotland, and we aim to follow her footsteps around Scotland to complete the learning! #WeAreCapable
