Our committee member Yvonne Weighand Lyle has co-designed 3 beautiful sculptural benches for parks in Midlothian together with members of the local community. Looking fantastic and vibrant, well done to Yvonne and all participants! 👏👏😍

Gorgie-Dalry deserves high-quality, accessible and inspiring public spaces! For over a year, our committee members have been developing concepts for new sculptural seating in our area. Here's a sneak peak at some early design ideas...👀🪑 #Gorgie #community #art #publicspace

The shameful hollowing out of our community here in Gorgie-Dalry continues The City of Edinburgh Council sold Dalry Artists Studios for £1 to @waspsstudios. They evicted our artists, and now this 'charity' and a developer will profit from replacing artisans with yet another student mega block

Off the production line! Stunning to see our designs for two new unique sculptural benches for Gorgie-Dalry come to life in the Ogilvie's workshop 😍 #GorgieDalry #community #benches #publicart #publicspace

Dear Edinburgh Council Help, using nothing but this rude contraption and my keen ability to smell water, I have watered 50 of the large trees closest to the Fountainbridge end of the Dalry Community Park, saving you thousands of pounds in tree replacement costs. The watering tubes have never

Great news everyone - after 5 months of drought, the dying trees in Dalry Community Park will finally be watered tomorrow! Hopefully this is the last incidence of negligent maintenance of the precious green spaces in our park🌳 Friends of Dalry Cemetery Ross McKenzie Cockburn Association (The Edinburgh Civic Trust) Gorgie Dalry Community Council

Finally the trees in Dalry Community Park are getting a drink... but only 5 months in, and after local residents raised concerns. Hope they will now be regularly watered and properly maintained going forward 🌳

Hi Edinburgh Council Help. With rain forecast daily from 22nd-29th May, it is the perfect time to sow grass seed and/or lay turf 🌱 Can you pls confirm that the barren earth in Sauchiebank Gardens in Dalry Community Park will finally be grassed this month? Thanks #Dalry #community #park

Hi HarrisonStevens Balfour Beatty and Edinburgh Council Help, concerned that the new 'accessible' concrete path in Dalry Park community garden is not fit for purpose. It drops off very sharply on 2 sides near the entrance - see pics Can you pls install safety barriers before there is an accident?

Good news that the path will now be made safe and presumably accessible. However, the poor and unclear communications mean that this will sadly wreck initial volunteer efforts to improve the soil, plant seeds etc. Could do better HarrisonStevens Balfour Beatty
