Love that Valhalla now has a comfortable, pleasant physical space worthy of the experience. Delicious cuisine from the opening canapés through the amazing dessert courses. Stellar service, top notch cocktails & great company made for an extremely satisfying evening.

Always was curious what notes restaurants I am regular at have on me. Just received a surely accidental email from Open Table with a restaurant‘a detailed notes on me. No idea how that happened, but interesting read.

Quite a dinner @ Fusion19 last night. Great views of the kitchen and the heart of the wine cellar from our table.

Best dinner in #Mallorca so far @ Maca de Castro Super friendly FOH made us feel at home and the kitchen executed course after course of stellar cuisine.

Fun wine tasting at the beautiful Can Piza in Mallorca. Have had plenty of white, red, rose and orange wine but blue wine was a first.

Final tasting menu in Spain. Ended on a strong note at Zaranda. Playful, creative cuisine with a story behind it in a beautiful restaurant.

Not even a year old and @ Carino is already one of the best restaurants in Chicago.

Looking back my favorite meal in Mallorca was at ** Voro. Beautiful, off the beaten path location, well worth the detour. Whimsical meal, but not at the expense of quality. Best service of the trip as well.

Wonderful new seafood centric Mexican resto, Mariscos San Pedro. Enjoyed sitting at the chef counter watching my dorade cook in the wood oven. Outstanding salsas and aguachile; fantastic dessert as well.

A 20% or so service charge in lieu of gratuity is fair; doing this and not so subtly encouraging additional tipping is poor form and constitutes deceptive pricing and/or making the customer feel guilty, i.e. poor hospitality.
