We went out for a quick walk this morning before getting the day going… figured we might as well stop by the house.

Wrapped up a busy day with a great dinner at @yardbirdrestaurants in DC. The St Louis ribs were amazing!

Late nights can be great nights! We met amazing teachers tonight, including hams Alyssa KC3ZEP, Lynn KE7HWL, and TI Grad Alan KE2GFO. Alyssa is already doing great stuff with her kids and amateur radio balloons! Can’t wait for y’all to come to TI! #hamradio #amateurradio #stem

Great day of meeting physics educators in DC! We had a chance to talk to several university students about their sessions and discuss our Collegiate program (CARP) Made some great connections about possible venues who want to host Teachers Institute! #hamradio #amateurradio #stem

Go figure… Bobo came over this afternoon… of course I was still at work. I’ll have to scratch behind his ears next time I guess. #bear

I’ve started flying @americanair lately because many of the routes are better… so far so good…. But…. @delta definitely has better #coffee. I’m only allowed 1-2 cups a day, so it’s a tad depressing I gave one of those up for this.

Well, we made it to Huntsville and got settled in. So far, not impressed with the coffee scene. It’s been a couple of years since coming to this #hamfest and we are ready for it to get started! #hamradio #amateurradio

This is going to be a multi cup kind of day… we were supposed to fly to Chicago then on to SFO to arrive at about 1pm…flight canceled now we fly to Philly, sit for 10 hours, then arrive at 11pm. Someone remind me again why I switched to American… I miss @delta @americanair

After more rebooking and shuffling we are in Los Angeles for a few hours.. new ETA in San Francisco is a hit after 8pm… I am drinking water because mom fussed at me :).

Up and at the airport before 4am, expected arrival in Hartford at 4:30pm… here’s hoping the trip out of San Francisco goes more smoothly than the trip in. We got a lot accomplished with the FAA meetings, so it’s all worth it. #hamradio #amateurradio #coffee
