Have to say... I am down on court here, but this game has JUICE. SLU clearly wants to play fast, GCU trying to slow it down. Lopes bench with a ton of energy, SLU students behind yelling everything under the sun at bench. Everybody flying around. Great game here tonight!

Lopes with an offensive explosion here! A jaden three, Makaih layup, and a Dusty corner three has the Lopes only down 5 now. Schertz calls timeout, Lopes have some momentum with 1:09 left in the half.

And a really tough end to the half. SLU attacks Dusty off the dribble again and gets two, then as time expires they pick Jayden Henley and get an easy layup. 38-29 at half

We have got some serious fight from this Lopes team. Two Makaih FT's, a henley layup, and a Dusty three has the Lopes down two!

A really incredible answer coming out of half. What was a disastrous final minute of the half... Lopes have tried to overcome it with a 7-0 run to start the half.

Well, the Lopes have given it all back. SLU answers with a quick 7-0 run and lead 45-36. Makaih still leads in scoring for the Lopes.

Billikens are really pulling away here. GCU's offense has completely stalled. Another transition three, where GCU is not up in a shooter (has been a problem all season, and especially tonight). Billikens 56-40 with 12:50 left.

Real bright spot tonight has been Makaih. He looks super comfortable and has stayed in attack mode, and showed some serious dawg tonight. He has the lopes lingering, still down 16.

Lopes foul a three point shooter in transition, and SLU will head to the line for three with a 65-46 lead. 7:48 remaining.

Well, that is going to do it. A Robbie three and the crowd goes nuts. Saint Louis up 73-46 with 6:21 remaining.

Well, no other way to put it. The Lopes go on the road against a good Saint Louis team and get absolutely dominated (Lopes score late in game to pull closer). SLU went on a 35-10 run over 12 minutes, & Lopes lose 78-64. GCU shoots 28% from the field, while SLU shoots 38% from 3.
