You could feel the momentum last night. From lifelong neighbors to people just getting involved, the energy was undeniable: people are ready for change.

just so we're all clear: the reason they're constantly bringing up "dolls" as their example is because they're trying to cast caring about material stuff as feminine, childish, and thus inherently shameful

Tomorrow, a new tool to create mixed income affordable housing called “green social housing” is going before Council. It’s not going too far, I think, to say this is one of the most consequential things Council could do to support affordable housing—all over the city.

My friend in Kyiv is helping build a youth space in Byshiv, a village devastated by war. Teens lost their school + cultural center — now they’re rebuilding together. Help raise funds to make it happen. Every share & donation counts. 💛 Links in Bio

This is a disappointing article from the Chicago Tribune leaving out the social context of e vs w of Broadway, the fact that proponents outnumbered opponents 2-1 in plan commission comments, and letting obvious lies go uncorrected chicagotribune.com/2025/07/20/pla…

In Illinois, we don’t need one Republican to pass a bill. What we really need? Democrats that FIGHT. Join the fight at nickforillinois.com.

Your electric bill is going up—45% since last summer. While ComEd profits and data centers are straining our grid, state legislators need to do more. I’m ready to fight for clean, affordable energy and for the people here in our district.

Federal forces just tear gassed myself and the other peaceful protestors here at the Broadview ICE facility. This is a terrifying escalation, but we will not back down.
