Shaji N. Karun (1952- 2025) filmed Nedumudi Venu singing with Njaralathu Rama Poduval for G. Aravindan's 'Thamp', a fictionalised documentation of a travelling circus. The 1978 'location film' shot entirely in Thirunnavaya has since been restored by Film Heritage Foundation.
