My Governor Steve Bullock just did a temporary flavor ban. This is especially infuriating because he’s friends with Iowa AG Brenna Bird and should know better. These illnesses are from black market thc and all you’re doing is creating more black markets.

While definitely better than a full ban, I wouldn’t count this as a win either unless PMTA’s are addressed. Expect an assault on vape shops by the ANTZ groups. They’ll look for any way to prove that shops shouldn’t be allowed to sell flavors.

Sorry, wasn’t trying to be a Scrooge here. I realize this is major relief for small business owners and the open vapor community. I just don’t take any ban as a full win, but also think people should enjoy today and get refreshed and ready for the next fight. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
