88 saliva & 99 hair samples from Lejeune Institute’s CRB BioJeL were sent to Queen Mary University of London. Part of the GODS21 study, these samples from individuals with Down Syndrome will help explore ➡️ Cortisol & HPA stress response ➡️ Links to obesity and related conditions

We are delighted to welcome Sneha Gupta as master student at Helmholtz Munich. She will study the effects of diet on microglia in a model for Down syndrome using iDISCO and light-sheet fluorescence microscopy. Hopefully we will better understand Alzheimer’s in DS patients.
