Very cool. Apparently, Assassin's Creed Mirage uses a neural texture compression technique developed by Ubisoft. According to Ubisoft, this enables "higher effective compression (about 30% in Assassin’s Creed Mirage) without sacrificing visual quality." ubisoft.com/en-us/news/ign…
