New paper from SWISS-AF: 1'232 patients with AF. Despite a 90% OAC rate, 2-year MRI follow-up revealed overt or covert stroke in 6.3%. Strongest indicators of residual CV risk were baseline NT-pro-BNP and baseline white matter lesion volume on MRI. @KantonsspitalSG
