In a UK first our elected representatives in Glasgow met with Apple this week for the start of discussions.

These are historic moves being made by the Apple Store workers organising with Apple Retail Workers Union, pushing for recognition in order to challenge issues such as low pay & unfair shift patterns. Their efforts at Apple will have a lasting impact and we welcome Glasgow members to our branch!

We are delighted to announce that after successful negotiations yesterday, Apple Glasgow has a date for a ballot for union recognition. ✊ Glasgow are set to make history by becoming the first Apple retail store in the UK to vote on union recognition.
