Andrew Leigh I remember the very first Winter Sleepout run by Melb City Mission at the Town Hall in Melbourne. I was a crisis worker at the time. Three homeless people arrived to get a place to sleep and were turned away. Institutional attitudes to homelessness haven't changed much since.

I’m angry about many things right now, and it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed. So today, as I made my way to @cams_kiosk for a couple of meetings, I paused long enough to photograph this gum blossom.

This is how I ground myself in the face of profound and visceral rage.
