Gage King has been appointed as the new Airport Director of the NC Global TransPark, succeeding Rick Barkes. With a strong background in aviation & leadership roles across Eastern NC, including as NCGTP’s Airport Project Manager, Gage is ready to lead us into the future.

N.C. Global TransPark ACE Camp is underway! We launched the week with big energy, exploring Lenoir Community College’s Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Center and diving into drone basics.

ACE Camp at the NC Global TransPark was full of high-flying fun! Campers explored aviation careers with the Division of Aviation, flew drones, toured flyExclusive and Draken and got an up-close look at the massive Antonov cargo plane.

From earning points through trivia and drone work to checking out the Kinston Aero Modelers Fly Day, the week at the N.C. Global TransPark ACE Camp was packed with excitement and hands-on learning.

Future aviators took flight at the NC Global TransPark’s ACE Camp 3.0 at Kinston Regional Jetport! From building professional portfolios to connecting with regional aviation leaders, students got a hands-on deep dive into aviation careers.
