Thanks to the Vancouver Irish Running Crew for participating in the Global Solidarity Run to show solidarity with those who are forcibly displaced & those living in extreme poverty. The Consulate team managed to find a few rare minutes of sunshine for our walk! #GlobalRun2024

In 2024 the number displaced people increased to a record high of 120M people. In the face of this huge issue, last weekend SSI joined Amnesty International Australia 🕯 Craig Foster Asylum Seekers Centre Refugee Council of Australia to raise awareness of the challenges displaced people face. #globalrun24 DOR AKECH ACHIEK
