#PhotoFriday is the fallboard, or keyboard cover, on the Glessners’ 1887 Steinway piano. The piano is a “Model C,” nearly as long as a concert grand. The custom-made case was designed by Francis Bacon for A. H. Davenport & Co. still used during parlor concerts and other events.
