Today, March 9th, 2024, at approximately 0800 the Glenview Fire Department responded to a reported MVA with possible entrapment at the intersection of Central Rd and Shermer Rd. Fire companies arrived on scene of a two vehicle accident with one vehicle rolled over.

At approx. 11:10 pm, the GlenviewILPD and Glenview Fire Dept responded to a two vehicle accident on the 1200 block of East Lake Avenue. 3 patients were transported in critical condition and 1 person is dead following this accident. MCAT is investigating. Captured News #ChicagoScanner

Happy New Year Glenview! 2024 was a busy year for the Glenview Fire Department. We responded to 10,080 calls for service, our highest amount in the history of the department. We are proud to serve our community and wish everyone a safe and happy new year!

The cold temperatures didn’t stop the GFD crews from training today 🥶. Companies performed extrication and stabilization tasks utilizing the following tools today: winch, cribbing, airbags, Hurst spreaders, rescue 42’s, and the bag-o-chains.
