It was a trip down memory lane today visiting my old undergrad department at Geography at Queen's to give a keynote talk QRA postgrad conference. I've been privileged to have been involved in such a brilliant multidisciplinary research with top folks throughout my career.

Today is the last day of coal powered electricity in Denmark. Block 3 at the Esbjerg plant will close down today. At its peak it used 500.000 tonnes per year, emitting 1,2 million tonnes of CO2 yearly. A good day for the climate 😊
