Journalists don’t owe you “positive”- they owe you accurate reporting of what’s going on. People were killed during protests, some are missing. Their stories deserve to be told. You can always switch over from CNN and visit the Kenya tourism board website for nice pictures.

He won the popular vote. This is an indictment of the president by over 40,000 people. A small number? Maybe. Significant nonetheless.

What can we learn from the Chivayo (Ren-Form) – ZEC corruption allegations and this visit to PORK’s private residence by Chivayo? Ukiona cha mwenzako chanyolewa, chako kitie maji.

You might think they were fighting allshabab or criminals but believe it or not they were killing children who had only water and Kenyan flag.

The Kenyan government says, "register for SHA and pay annual premiums." You do so. When you tell them to cover health care costs, they’re no where to be found. When you speak up, like Grace Njoki Mullei did, they arrest you. They want us helpless, hopeless, sick, and silent.

Isn’t it baffling that women, who make up half of the world’s human population, are often grouped alongside other minority and marginalised groups!! It doesn’t make any sense. This injustice is precisely why everyone should be a feminist.

Absolutely terrifying. Chilling. I am so sorry Boni and Agather. If we could turn back time and stop what those monsters did, we would. I hope you find some way to live with this pain in this world that has been so cruel to you. My your tormentors know hell in this lifetime.

Exactly! It is deliberate. Designed to function this way. Treating it as incapacity only shields those responsible from accountability. Once we recognise it as deliberate, the way forward is clear; send them home and overhaul the whole system.

Reducing fibroids to a matter of nulliparity is simplistic, misleading, and harmful. Using fibroids to mock women’s empowerment is unfortunate. Medical misogyny is real and posts such as these are genuinely concerning. Medical doctors on the TL must do better.

They didn’t even have the decency to run a grammar and spelling check. This is about power and control. How far we have fallen.

What purpose does tribal identity serve in the charge sheet? Isn’t nationality sufficient? What do those of mixed ethnicity record? If regional data is necessary, county information should suffice. No? Was the ‘male’ going by these names produced in court?

You know the post-mortem will show blunt force trauma to the head, so you are getting creative. How exactly did he "self-inflict" such an injury? Was he in an isolated cell? Even a pretzel 🥨 is not this twisted. We’re not buying it. #JusticeForAlbertOjwang

Albert Ojwang is all of us. Are you a teacher? A content creator? A graduate? A parent? Do you have a spouse? Are you 31 years old, someone’s child. Are you Kenyan? If you answered yes, then you are Albert. What happened to him could happen to any of us. #Justice4AlbertOjwang

Where are the religious leaders? When will you live the faith you profess? When will you rise and stand for justice? Call out your congregants. Let them march for justice in cities, towns and villages. For how long will this madness continue? SUPKEM NCCK Kenya KNCPC

Rape. Incest. Forced motherhood. And this is your headline, Daily Nation? Clicks over humanity. Have a conscience. Dignify that little girl. Condemn the crime. You must do better.

Gladys Kangi (@gkangi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A press release? Really? You can do more and you know it . It’s time to act! Injustice is in the streets. Pick a Sunday. Step out from behind the fancy pulpit and lead your congregation. Take the call for justice to the streets. Jesus would’ve been there. Rebel like Jesus.

🤦🏽‍♀️ Where can we find such stats for Kenya, specifically how often violence is used. How do we define and track police violence in KE? The irony is that in NL, these numbers are alarming and the police are trying to figure out why they’re not dropping. In Kenya? It’s whataboutism.
