Fair play to #lfc they stepped it up 2nd half and showed their class. Kounate made a difference as Delap had the better of Quansah. That's the quietest sold out away end I've ever seen at Portman Road #itfc

So, the ref blows his whistle and stops the game when we have the ball in the box. Watches var, realises he's made a mistake and it wasn't a foul....... Free kick to Everton ๐Ÿคท #itfc

"The players ran into each other so it's not a penalty kick" Yes, but one of them had the ball at his feet, the other one didn't! #itfc

However, the drama was saved for the 89th minute when Mason Girling found himself unmarked to slot home from close range following good work once again in and around the box to get the ball across for him to send The Doucy into wild celebrations as they clinched all three points

Cheating officials aside, #brennanjohnson is a rat. Shooshing the #itfc fans that adored his father for no apparent reason. #ipstot #THFC

The second half saw Wanderers come close to scoring a few times before finally making the breakthrough on 81 minutes. Mason Girlingโ€™s shot was well saved by the keeper but the rebound found its way to Zach Crisp on the edge of the box who cooly slotted home to seal the win.
