On Saturday, our Director of Research, Dr Jane Haley, took part in Girlguiding Scotland Camp CEO at @StrahallanSchool where she spoke with over 60 #Girlguides from across Scotland as part of a 'Ask the CEO' session aimed at helping girls build confidence in themselves.

To our young members getting their exam results today, Elaine and our Scottish Chief Commissioner Team want to say, “well done for making it this far – there is so much more to come in your future. Hold on to your guide promise and remember #NoWrongPath.”

The Scottish Chief Commissioner Team spent the day with some inspirational ladies today at the County Commissioner Day at Scottish HQ. Most of the lead volunteers for each Scottish County were there along with our fab staff team. We had fun and learned loads. Girlguiding Scotland

I visited a Guide unit in Paisley to deliver #OwnOurZone. We chatted about what makes public spaces safe/unsafe and then created a perfect town. We had clean, accessible public toilets, safe waiting spaces at stations, loads of lights and bins, dog friendly places and much more!

📊 66% of girls aged 11 - 21 see or experience sexism in public spaces, and 59% of 13-21-year-olds have seen or experienced sexual harassment. The Girlguiding UK Girls Attitude Survey highlights that more work still needs to be done in ending violence against women and girls.
