No Kristian Campbell at 1B for the Red Sox today. The lineup right now is just better with Toro there, but I wonder what their rationale is. My guess is they simply want to win the series. Perhaps he plays there tomorrow against the lefty Anderson, with RHH Eaton playing 2B?

Red Sox roster moves: Justin Slaten to IL, Luis Guerrero up Nick Sogard down, Nate Eaton up Blake Sabol DFA Slaten didn’t look great vs MIL his last time out. Eaton gives them another RHH. Sabol didn’t really do anything with the Red Sox, and Grandal is doing well at AAA.

Home run for Trevor Story two nights ago. Hard hit ball to deep center off Schwellenbach yesterday. Just missed a homer today. I think Story might be back ladies and gentlemen.

Am I the only one who just really enjoys watching Marcelo Mayer in the field? He’s so relaxed out there and makes every play look easy.
