Damn good novel. Fast read also. Falls victim to most prequel issues in that it can’t drop any major changes but it side help fill in Geralt’s back story and motivations. Some solid character stuff and brief action scenes. Good late addition to the series. 4/5

Well this was fucking delightful. Moves at a super brisk pace. Great effects especially with Surfer. The core cast nails the family aspect I was hoping for with Kirby being the absolute standout and emotional core. Family, hope and community. All messages we need. 4.5/5
