Heading down to Birmingham for the annual National Association of GP Federations meet up. Some interesting discussion points to work through with 30 other GP Fed leaders. Timing of the session is 👌

I got a little lost in the weeds of this, but fundamentally, it can never be acceptable to be allowed to self-redefine failure as success, no matter how flexible that failure is. Services are really struggling, cuts are happening like never before, we can't just excuse ourselves,

it's interesting that the calibre of role in GP Federations is starting to make working in the community, within primary care an interesting career move. Most days I really do love my job, and wish him all the best as he adjusts to a very different world.

It worries me that management may have lost it's way. If this is true, 1hr direct care vs 4hr admin, then management isn't carrying out it's function. The job of a manager in the NHS is to optimise clinicians ability to deliver care. Everything else is a side show.

General practice always amazes me. I messaged via NHS app this AM, called back a few hours later by the Dr. Bloods on Monday, and tel follow up with Dr booked for Tuesday. All time slotted so I can get on with life around care. Thanks to the team at Stanley Court!

Unfortunately, Tesla took a leaf out of the NHS playbook with this "plan" . Lots of aspiration, but no detail on HOW. At least they will deliver theirs in less than ten years. 😂

Just learned my micro desktop which isnt an awful spec, isn't supported by Windows 11. I won't be alone. Could this be the trigger for Linux to finally get the limelight it deserves?

Such a silly policy. If I worked for one of the big four consultancy providers, I'd dust off the "referral management" services, throw a few powerBI tables together, mention AI a lot and then cream off that sweet sweet £2.5k day rate as the ICBs lap it up for a few years.

What an outrageous post. I'd have thought the team would have advised to wind back the negative "slip of the tongue", not double down. I'd always encourage leaders to have people around them that don't just nod along, and let them blunder. Time for some more sage advisors,
