#OTD 31 years ago another night at Leeds Poly to see The Damned original line up (not quite how it's spelt on the ticket) They only played their early stuff, brilliant night. So for those that didn't understand and shouted for Eloise at the encore, unlucky 👍

Siouxsie and the Banshees played Edinburgh Playhouse 42 years ago today, supported by The Comsat Angels. Israel kicked off a stunning set, here’s my ticket, a steal at £3.50. Thrilled to be seeing Siouxsie again this year 🖤 Scottish Post-Punk PunkAndNewWave GC's Punk & New Wave

On this day in 1979, I was watching the #Skids at The Limit in Sheffield. As far as I remember, they played T.V. Stars three times [might have only been twice]. Brilliant night. This ticket is someone's for the earlier Matinee show.

Nice photo of me & my best pal representing the ladies of 2-tone, at last week's BFI IMAX Dance Craze shindig. As usual, upholding the sartorially strict dress code for 2-tone functions, but with a soupçon of originality;-)

Andre Rieu - Birmingham April 2023. Not my usual type of thing but it was a birthday present for the Mother-in-Law. Good seats on front row, and to be honest good fun and quite an impressive array of very talented musicians etc!

On this day in 1977, Don Letts, Ray Gange and a 24-year-old Joe Strummer attended an all-nighter at Hammersmith Palais in London. The event inspired Joe to write, in my opinion, the greatest song of all-time.

Oasis Podcast Jack White - saw them at SECC and he was hit square in the coupon with a trainer. Shook his head, kept singing. Security were checking everyone’s feet as we filed out after the gig. gigarchive

Just finished Glen Matlock’s book “Triggers” a great read. Each chapter is named after a song that meant something at a period in time. Wasn’t aware of many of them, so will be doing myself a playlist and looking forward to discovering them Glen Matlock
