Our new method, plotsr, for visualising structural properties of multiple genomes is now published in Oxford Academic Bioinformatics. Using plotsr we visualised genomic differences between six human, eight thaliana and four potato genomes. doi.org/10.1093/bioinf…

Flash-back on our Annual PLANTA International Symposium that took place last Thursday at Jardin du Lautaret (UGA/CNRS), with Université Grenoble Alpes and Università degli Studi di Milano colleagues. Congrats to committee members and speakers, who are current students and alumni of the PLANT-Int/Plant Science Master program

It was a great experience to attend an International annual Planta International Symposium in Du Lautaret, hosted by Università degli Studi di Milano & Université Grenoble Alpes Congrats, to Luca Gianfranceschi & Cristel Carles for successfully hosting it. The professors were so friendly and Cooperative.

Congrats to the PLANT-Int graduates we could celebrate this year at the APIS event for those who were able to join us Jardin du Lautaret (UGA/CNRS), and to those also, who couldn't make the trip up there 👏👩🎓🧑🎓.

Two studies from Kim, Lee, Ko, Erich Jarvis & co compare old and updated genome assemblies for example mammal, bird, and fish. One focuses on artefactual gene losses, and one gene gains, and they explore the factors leading to these genomebiology.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11… genomebiology.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…
