I remember when we were all still storyboarding episodes but had no idea (besides a test pilot episode they did) what the finished show was going to look like. Then we all saw this pencil test and started getting hyped. A talented team of animators is worth their weight in gold

The loss of cel animation might be the greatest tragedy of everything this industry has gone through because I can’t imagine what shows could have looked like if they had another 20 years to hone this medium if this is what it looked like at the end of its life

Anime fans: when a character charges up (or takes a really powerful blow) the drawings will sometimes temporarily change to really scratchy black and white drawings.... Can anyone point me to some specific examples of that so I can show our animators as reference?
