Every community has a unique story that should be heard and elevated by policymakers in Washington. Last week I heard powerful stories about how #InternetInequality is impacting communities in Southern Ohio from librarians, healthcare professionals, and business owners.

I had a great visit at blavityinc where I spoke about my experiences working in the public sector and learned about how their team is building a media empire centered around Black voices. I look forward to seeing all the exciting things this organization accomplishes.

.City of Los Angeles is a leader among America’s cities, and I was excited to visit last week and learn about their initiatives to address climate change, secure elections and serve as a tech hub for all Angelenos.

I spent today learning about the future at Futurecom in São Paulo. Networks are global and bring countless opportunities to those connected. But threats to networks are also global and network security requires a global approach. Network Security is National Security.

I had a great time connecting with former Commissioner Mignon Clyburn during our fireside chat at the @MMTConline Access to Opportunity Conference. We discussed #5G, media ownership, solving #InternetInequality and the role #diversity and #inclusion plays in all of it. 

I joined EPIC & Marc Rotenberg | CAIDP.ORG where we spoke about privacy, national security, & 5G. FCC has an important role in the privacy conversation. We also spoke about the FCC’s 18-month-old investigation into cell carriers selling GPS data. Consumers must be protected!
