Azerbaijan: Ethnically cleanses Artsakh. Occupies Armenian land. Keeps prisoners of war in detention. Denies the genocide. Threatens to invade Armenia.

Also Azerbaijan: “Why does the Armenian diaspora want war?”

Aliyev and AZ gov media have been clear: if Armenia stops ceding land, AZ will use force. If Armenia doesn’t capitulate on the disastrous Zangezur corridor, AZ will use force.

This isn’t positive, and your phrasing implies AZ has ever adhered to human rights commitments.

Let’s just give bit of Artsakh, our enemies will be kinder to us. Let’s just give a bit of Syunik. Let’s just give a bit of Tavush. Let’s just give a bit of Yerevan.

This is how nations die.

I just introduced the Azerbaijan Sanctions Review Act to take action against 44 Azerbaijani officials following the ethnic cleansing of Armenians from Artsakh and the violent repression of political opposition.

The U.S. must take a strong stand against the genocide of Armenians.

Supporters of the Turkish government chanting “Pashinyan” in Washington DC yesterday during the Armenian Genocide protest. Looks like Erdogan has found a partner in Yerevan.

After the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh, the Azeri regime is still holding onto the civilian political leadership of Artsakh: its prior presidents, ministers, and parliament members, as well as dozens of others as hostages to coerce further territorial concessions from Armenia.

Last year today we were in Artsakh commemorating the Armenian Genocide. Today 120,000 people from Artsakh observe this date outside of the only place they called home — because they faced the same fate. History denied is history repeated.

As much as our enemies want to paint us as two opposing entities — the Armenian homeland and diaspora are united when it comes to our history, our dignity, and our national security.

Those who stand with Pashinyan, Erdogan, and Aliyev are the minority.

This is what is happening in Yerevan right now. We are fighting for our country, we don't want to give any part of our country to the terrorist state azerbaijan. We want the world which is against us to see that we are not puppets and we will not give up easily 🇦🇲🇦🇲

So you gave away Artsakh, put the Armenian Genocide into question, and destroyed Armenia’s security apparatus — for this stick in the ground?

It’s very ironic when the whole West welcomes Armenia’s unilateral concessions and ignores the fact that Azerbaijan has organized more about 30 military trainings in 2024; another one has been launched today. I hope one day the real peace will be established in this region…
