Small groups of people have been trying to block some roads in downtown #Yerevan to disrupt traffic. The police have detained ~50 ppl, according to several reports church servants among them as well. The police used force.

Government officials, legislators and gov supporters launched a flash mob on social media, posting ‘Nikol Pashinyan, the elected Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.’

Supposedly, this is the response to the demand for the resignation, announced earlier by the protesters.

Bagrat Archbishop, the leader of the protest demands Armenian PM’s resignation, stating he’s ready to discuss the conditions.

Earlier, the Archbishop announced they don’t demand Pashinyan's resignation.

Today’s rally in Yerevan probably is the biggest one since the 2020 war.
