Today we mourn the passing of Ron Teasley, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and former Negro Leagues player. A Detroit native who earned two college degrees from Wayne State University, Teasley played for the 1948 New York Cubans along with future Hall of Famer Minnie Miñoso.
