Just now I could raise the voice of Civil Society on behalf of @CoE_NGO at the Summit of Heads of State. I hope it was clear and loud and well received. No selfie on that case 😉❤️🇪🇺

At the end of the Summit I was honoured to meet with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to talk how @CoE_NGO can support & cooperate with Civil Society in Belarus. It was a great pleasure to meet with this brave woman, the true leader of the people of Belarus. 🤍❤️🇪🇺

There were Cyber attacks on Iceland, it's government, parliament the transmission of the Summit. Will Russia never learn? There aggression does not intimidate us, it only strengthens our resolve. We stand united with our friends 🇪🇺🇺🇸🇨🇦🇲🇽🇯🇵🇺🇳 for democracy & 🇺🇦

Just now in a first online event of Council of Europe_NGO and CURE Campaign with Civil Society on the follow up of the Reykjavik Summit of @CoE. We need CS to advocate with member states to live up to the promises of the Summit.

Good news - forward to the next step, the European Convention on Human Rights. Council of Europe and #EU together for human rights, equality & non-discrimination 🇪🇺👍

This was a very efficient dialogue - great & strong statements & proposals by CSOs for the implementation of the declarations adopted at the Summit. The #RoadToReykjavik must now become the way into the future of Council of Europe with a real Civil Society engagement.

Join if you can, this is so important for a just society in 🇪🇺 and the voice of Civil Society is needed to protect & strengthen our strongest instrument for social rights as human rights. The ever widening social gap is one of the greatest challenges for our democracy.
