Delirium is a serious complication of hospitalization. Things we do to pts in hospital my induce it:
Immobility
Sleep Deprivation
Sensory Deprivation
Meds (esp if psychoactive)
Dehydration
HELP is a patient-centered intervention addressing these culprits
